Has this combo been patched (114, DB1)? It can not be done even with turned off release check.

dumb question, but just got into mk, when u move and do combos do u use the stick or d-pad ? 😂

If u got problem with mkx combos...u gonna be even more frustrated with mk11

I know this video is 7 years old but: I think Alternate Controls are okay, for example my PS4 controller has a messed up left direction on the D-pad, so doing any "Back to Foward" is pretty hard to do consistently when facing right. This can way I can do half circles foward or backwards without problems

My only problem now is that when I turn all of those off, it became way harder to do raw specials. Like I'll try to do a down back 2 special and will keep getting an upper cut even though Im pressing back. I basically have to hold the first input down before I do the second one

How come whenever I do the off balance he falls back away from me instead of just in the air

Hey I know I'm very very late but I'm a new player and my inputs are clean but the second part of the combo just doesn't happen at all if I go fast, but if I go slower it doesn't hit, unless my opponent is in a corner. This problem is consistent with every character I use as well. Until I figure this out I'm at an impasse but I don't want to give up and I don't want to get mk11. Because the game is kinda old and no one else seems to be having this problem, I don't know where to go to ask for help so I'm really hoping someone can help me out.

Even after disabling it, combos were not working for me. I was stuck in tutorial under special moves category. Refunded the game because of that.

Dude you are a fucking HERO, im newb in MK overall and Im saving money to get MK11 with DLC so I got MK XL for "free" :p to get into the game, after this tutorial and some practice I just beaten my first tower on hard, where 2 days ago I was just a punching bag for NPCS haha. It's kinda hard to get used to new mechanics (I used to play a lot of tekken but now MK is more appealing to me) and for real, guarding in MK is so counter intuitive for me but god damn, I'm finally getting some combos of JUST BECAUSE OF THIS ONE VID AND KEEPING IT CLEAN. I said im gonna sub if this vid gonna make me beat tower on hard, so I hope you gonna teach me some new stuff for MK11. You kinda have to :D

Longer combos = do the combo nice carefully Shorter combos = do them quick as you can

Why in the hell would they make the game with so many ways that inhibit your performance? I've NEVER been good at games like this. I cant get combos out, i cant correctly press buttons, i cant chain together moves and i absolutely cannot close the distance correctly. HOWEVER...i seriously hate adaptive difficulty. Worse implementation I've ever seen.
